Hey BAIC, don't forget 9/11
I don't think it's going to ever be forgotten, I'm sure it's going to be in history books by 2010.
I don't think anybody wants to forget or will forget, we just don't want to think about it.

how many remember what happened on dec 7, 1941?
ldivinag: I didn't live through it. Those who did will remember it.
I'm not saying to tell people to forget. It's just in my opinion, that year after year, it is brought up. It's a terrible tragedy and it's not going to go away, but some people have great feelings brought out from this event that they don't want to feel again. There's no good way to put my opinion, though there are probably a lot of people that feel the same way: we're just trying to move on.

Why are you sick of it? If any of us had the ***** to be a hero in this tragedy, then they should be commended for their efforts, especially the folks who died trying rescue others.

Some of the news channels on tv are replaying everything that happened that day in real time. + there was a documentary on tv last night about the firefighters and it actually showed the camera man get trapped in the first tower that collapsed etc. Very depressing.

Oh please. I think anyone here with their head on straight would've done every bit as much as they did, if not more. It has nothing to do with *****. It's doing what you need to do. Sure, it's really tragic, but good grief! Do you even know who caused this so-called tragedy? Sure, you are quick to point your finger at Al Qaeda, or bin Laden, or you name it. But do you really know for yourself? No. You point fingers because that's what everybody else is doing, or maybe that's what the media is telling you. As far as I'm concerned, I haven't heard of any real evidence that denies that our own ("Great," as everyone else calls it) government, or an extension thereof, did it.
