I don't care, as long as it's not a Honda.

Help me choose!
If everything goes well this weekend, and it's about a 90% lock, my Volkswagon will finally be gone. I'll need a car as soon as I can get approved for a loan. I have good credit, so I'm not worried about that. But, what do I get. Two cars have caught my eye, and my heart. I'll leave it up to the BAIC.
Car #1 is a WRB WRX wagon in Sacto with 25k miles on it, bone stock for $14,000.
Car #2 is a 2001 2.5RS Coupe that has been professionally painted z06 yellow. It's bone stock with the exeption of 17in ADR Sukodo's. Leather. Has 9500 miles. No really, 9500 miles. Asking price of $10,500.
Now keep in mind I do alot of freeway driving, about a hundred miles a day, 5 days a week. Also, I will be moving in January, and once I move this car will probably be traded in for an STi.
I'm really leaning towards car #2.

It's gotta be able to stand up to my commute schedule and most beaters I've looked at would not hang. And, I'm not going to spend money on something I don't want. If I did, I would have bought a Kia years ago.
Besides, I like to drive in style.

LOL! I love it when people bash on Hondas... They clearly don't know what they're capable of. With that aside, since you will be getting an STi in the future why not just buy the cheaper of the two and save more money for the STi.

For freeway driving I would def. recommend #1. you have no idea how paranoid about CHP one can get driving a yellow subaru on the freeway (esp. at night and running no cats...)

Get the RS, they don't make that style Impreza anymore plus its only got 9500 miles!!! I don't think you'll EVER find another RS with that low mileage. Or instead of STI sell your car and get a loan so you can pick up this monster...

I've owned a tuned Honda, so I know there no joke when built right, but come on - Why buy a Honda when there are so many better car's out there. I've thought about the "yellow car" issue, but I've spent 6 months commuting with my buddy who has a yellow Nissan sentra Spec V with headers and exhaust, and we have never had a problem, so whatever. I was thinking about it, and I'm gonna hold off on the STI, and hold on to the car I decide on getting. Either one will be a fun car to have, but I'm still leaning to the Coupe.
Bill Brasky drives a Honda, so it must be great.
