Help me choose a car

I need a little help making a car choice and since this seems to be the Subaru mecca I want your help.

I am trying to decide between a Forester and a Baja (sorry, not an Impreza) which do you think is better and why?

The Baja seems sluggish but looks cooler. The turbo is coming out next year but I heard it will require premium fuel and the gas mileage sux. I haven't seem many of them on the road either.

The Forester has a ton of additional features but is small for an SUV. Also there are a ton of additional color choices for the Forester, will this change for the 2004 Baja?

I like the hard tanneou cover for the Baja., I might trade for the turbo baja, we need a truck like thing more than a wagon thing. BUT, this Forester looks badA$$!

Well, I'd say the Forester XT. Car and Driver claims that it's faster than the WRX in their initial tests. It's basically the STI engine and the WRX chasis but you sit up a little higher which is nice and you still get good handling. My mom has a Forester and I think that they are great vechicles, all the space of an SUV with the ride of a car. The Baja is cool but I don't think it's that practical. I dont really using that small truck space in the back, and there is nothing that will fit back there that won't fit in or on top of a Forester with all it's seats folded down.
That's just my two cents.
