Lightbulb HELP! Best place to buy generic Subaru style plastic clips?

My fender liner ripped off at 70mph (damn driveway scrape a few days earlierName: blankface.gif

Thanks i-club

Yeah... they're called zap straps (zip ties if you prefer). So cheap they're almost free.

certain people with certain cars use these to secure whole bumpers. Im pretty sure they can hold up a fender liner

get a self tapping screw or whatever they are called and drill it into some metal near the front end. I did that after i destroyed a whole bunch of clips when i installed my CAI a long time ago.

I've gotten some from lowe's before, they have a pretty good selection of plastic fasteners. Sometimes it's hit or miss.

I get it, it's an emergency thing. Get yourself a 1/4" drill bit and a wad of black zip ties and poke some holes in the fender liner, add some straps. You can use existing holes on bumpers/fenders so you only need to "violate" your fender liner. Then call your favorite Subaru parts supplier and buy a sack of those things.

BTW: the way I look at "cheaper" for stuff like this is, yeah might be a couple bucks cheaper but that is wiped away if I have to stop what I am doing even once, clean up and go to the store for a return. I order my stuff from Subaru and I would say 95% of the time I just install it, no muss no fuss. To me, less hassle is "cheaper" even if it costs a few bucks more. But that's just me. "Cost" isn't always in cash.
