This reminded me of my earlier days on AOL (about 11 1/2 years ago?) when a friend was dating a gal in LA. Her "sister" had some fake Japanese girl's name. He couldn't reveal who the older sister was, but I'm pretty sure it was a dude. At least the girl he was dating was actually a girl. Internet is serious business.
