i accidentally skipped to around the middle and read "none of them are real". i thought to myself "DAMN this is gonna be some kind of crazy ghost story". i went back to continue reading to see how none of those people were real.

i figured there must've been some crazy twist, like he was really talking to a ghost the whole time. and that when he tried to look for them, there were no traces at all, not even logs with the cell carrier that calls were made with his cell phone. i started getting goosebumps.

it didn't exactly turn out the way i thought it would thought. but it was still an interesting story. sorry to hear about such a heart-wrenching experience. it's definitely one of those stories you can tell everyone for ages

Wow Huck! wow!

You just gotta convert that into a screen play. It's gotta be worth something.

I know you wanna close this chapter, but I can't help but still be curious as to what the truth about her is. Like why (from her perspective/ or a psychologist's) she does this. What's the source? Abuse as a child/young adult? No father in her life? What?

sorry this happened to you man, something similar happened to me a few years ago, but after the girl didn't meet up 2-3 times, I became suspicious and did the same thing and sent her a long letter with all of the data I'd collected and told her to **** off.....

What a mind****... Damn Huck. In the end though, she is lucky she nabbed you I guess. It sucks that you had to go through all that, but what you are doing with it is truly upstanding. Much respect for you Huck.

The fact that you handled this as maturely as you did says alot about your character and moral fiber. A crappy situation, but hopefully an end to others getting hurt/drawn into her fantasy life down the road.

OMG what a story...sorry you had to go though such an emotional ordeal. While she broke no laws, she toyed with people's minds and pulled on heart strings...that's ****** up! BUT, you got a hell of a story out of the whole experience...one that you could totally sell to the Lifetime or Oxygen network. Hell you could even make it into a movie!

And yeah, ain't it a ***** sometimes. Props to you Huck for not totally losing it. It sucks to be toyed with on that level.
Agreed.

I am really sorry you had to go through this. You are a genuinely good and nice person and I am sorry that she put you through all of this bull**** and hassle. This is just some insane ****. I am really sorry.
I'd offer to kick her ***, but I dont think it would help the situation any...

Edit: Just remembered a co-worker's favorite saying; "Life's a *****, and then you marry one."
