yep 100% stock. They will/can deny you for even having aftermarket springs!! It is lame...but they get away with it. I am getting mad just thinking of it when I am typing this...but it is true.

NEVER mention that you had any mods to the car!!!! You will screw yourself tthat way.

If denied...start thinking of RA gears or STi tranny!!!! You will have to put out some money at first...but totally worth it!! The stock tranny will more than likely break again...so save yourself the headache and problems.

Couldn't have said it better myself. And don't put your real name or adress or phone number on a message board like this one and talk about your warranty-breaking mods. Go discreet and keep that warranty golden

One of the guys who's car we completed this week got charged $1250 and denied, then $150 for the car to be trailored here. The car was dismantled as far as the tranny goes and some parts where missing.

We sold him the RA set for $2450 installed. Which made is total near $4k when he could have saved the $1400 and being denied if he had not bothered with the dealership.

It's a tough call.

Yea it was pretty lame, they even told the guy that if he did not remove his car by X date it would be $50 a day storage. He was pretty pissed off about it (as would I be). Last I heard he was having fun with his RA unit now so it's all water under the bridge now.

I made a post a while back just saying how my 4th gear has been grinding a bit so figure its got something to do with that too.
Questions are:
-Where in Milpitas is a good place I can take my car to get it looked at?
-Can Gruppe-S look at it? Since its not too far. I'll be calling them in the morning but thought i'd ask anyways.
-Anyone know what type of things I should just look for on my own?
-Kinda scared to drive my car now, so could any of you pros come to my house in Milpitas to check it out?

Would have posted this in the Maintenance/Transmission sections but since I need to know where in the Bay to bring it I put it here.

hmm...for quite a while, my 4th slightly grinds when i go into it...it's been tripping me out lately and I dunno what's wrong either

if you have warranty...report it now before it gets too late. Once it starts grinding...it just gets worse.

That is what they told me yes. 60k miles. So as long as the guys problem isn't hardshifting or whatever then his tranny can be fixed. Well thats what I was told.....

yup...but if they really wanted to, they can always say it was because of his style of driving, and deny the warranty. Wich is a bunch of crap...they cart really tell that. But what they say, goes....
