awww man...so im drivin home from my boyz house when a krusty grandpa gets in front of me. naturally i downshift to fourth and pass, but when i shift back up to fifth my CEL starts blinkin at me and my turbo doesnt spool up. wtf happened?? i didnt hear any detonation or anything...only thing i noticed was that the turbo wasnt spooling and at idle the entire car is shaking. anyone have a clue what happened to my baby???

chech all your intake hoses if they is a leak some were it mite idle ruff and what kind of gas do you put in.and if it is stock and under warranty take it in to a dealer to have it fixed. cheers

 

lol not so much stock...checked all hoses and nothing that i can see is causing this. i use only 91 oct gas, thanks for the input though

same thing happened to my car... ran fine... (well a little rich) but NO boost. "E" clip popped off the wastegate actuator.

Take the heat sheild off the turbo and see if the WGA is still attached to the valve. It cost me 15 cents at home depot to fix.

check the plug for your return hose from your blow off valve?

i dunno...nothing seems wrong to me but the turbos not spooling up and the engine is rattling soo hard its shaking the whole car...i need to take her into a shop...anyone know any good ones in the vacaville area?? id go to s squared or gbm or one of the others but i dont wanna drive her that far when i dont know whats wrong =/ thanks

Dont drive it at all man sounds like a fux0rzed turbo or something along those lines. is the smoke white and stanky?

 

yea it is...just started coming out yesterday when i turned the car over to see if i fixed the prob...found the clamp on the turbo inlet hose busted off so i put it back on...no go. white smoke smells like ***. goin back to stocker turbo.
