Thumbs down Green Valley Subaru parts dept.

It sucks ****. Sorry Asian Ray, I'll happily send you any Impreza buyers I sniff out, but the parts and service counters are poopy. I went in today to get a PCV valve and fuel filter, and they were special order parts! These are items that are included in the 15k and 30k services, respectively. Not only that, but the only intelligent person I have ever spoken to in parts (Aaron) apparently no longer works there. The guy I dealt with looked up the parts in the computer- there should be a shortcut book for regular maintenance items like filters, pads, etc. Also, they have never ONCE given me a crush washer with an oil filter. Always out of stock. Bah. From now on, all my maintenance needs will be met by Tacoma Subaru, www.subaruparts.com, and Exeter Subaru, www.subaruwrxparts.com. Exeter also happens to have great prices and selection of aftermarket goodies. (Goodrich lines for $98!) I nearly asked what they wanted for SPT springs, but I stopped because I didn't want to laugh in the poor guy's face.

Nope. I always have to ask them for it. Sometimes when i ask them for a crush washer i get a blank stare. Even if I tell them what it is they still go on the computer to find the part number.

Broken Arrow, what do u plan on doing after green valley? If you don't mind me asking.

One of the links I put above, I forget which, sells filters $60 per case of 12, and they throw in the washers. After I use the other one I still have I will definitely go that route.
