Now that I've finished finals, it's time to get GT5! Is there anything not to like about it? I'll probably be playing with the controller since the logitech driving wheel thing is way too expensive

Same here. You just have to drive hard,late brake, push them aside.

Ok, now THAT'S a different story! POS car and driver, it took me several tries and I had to give in to spending on mods. Now I have to keep the car since I spent so much.

ok have any of you guys had cars missing???? Ive been passing cars to my little brother back and forth, and 3 cars didnt make it back, we waited the one day per car thing but nothing, david gave me a 07 spec-c when I first bought the game and never recived it...anything similar going on around?????????????

 

This has been a known problem with GT5 where people's car go missing while trading. I haven't tried it, but it has happened to others.

Haven't tried it yet. I'll wait until all the kinks have been ironed out in online play.

 

I gifted some of the crappy cars I get to friends but then they just turn around and give it back to me... no issues with gifts for me

 

I got by on A-Spec by the skin of my teeth. I made the car as wide as I could to block opponents from beating me down the long straight.

 

Yea, you have no real control over the car. I still managed to only spend about $25,000 to get it up to the point I needed. 147hp I think, it would burn em down the straight away but no bottom end, so they would catch up in the corners. I passed the last 2 cars on the second to last lap and was constantly coaching my driver on the last lap trying to keep him from going off track.
