I heard you can adjust the gearing in the colored x1's (the ones you can buy from the dealer when you are at a certain level), anyone know if thats true??

 

Yes you can,tho I've yet to try the colored ones.you gotta disable TC to hit 300mph,like 200 ain't fast enough lol!!!maybe I'll try it later when I get home from work.

Oh yeah definitely,guaranteed to tire out your drivers also.watching the replays is pretty funny also specially when bob punts the driver in front of him lol!!

 

Yup, in the x1 I raised the downforce for more mph too..with downforce all the way down I hit 260 max, with it tweaked all the way up it hit almost 290mph (I think)..the only thing is you lose control way too easily without any downforce lol.

Do you have any colored x1's??

on the X1, the gearing isn't adjustable on the one i'm using.

so far i've hit 309MPH in the X1, the only assists on were traction control at 3 and ABS 2, manual with racing soft tires on daytona.

I can rarely hit 300+ unless i draft, I have to chase them down for a few laps and line them up for the straight.

 

I topped the redbull at 293 at that night time street track course online with everything on default.then turned off the TC and passed 300.so far I have the proto and copper,trying to get the matte black and white.

 

Pretty sure you can even dance around them lol!!
