What exactly is the objective in GT5? Complete all races with gold? Reach some certain experience level? Own all cars? In other words, how do you "beat the game" so to speak?

you don't in my opinion.

It's a car collecting game. My goals vary each week. The first week of the game I wanted to finish the license. The next week I wanted to buy a Ferrari 458. Last week I wanted an LFA. This week I want a Chrysler 300c.

I got the ending movie pretty early on, I thought it was odd that there even is an ending movie...is there even a story to this game?

Anyway, my aspec menu thingy changed? Anyone knows whats up with that? I'm level 20.

I have suggestion: If you hate the game so much sell it and STFU.

I love how all the people here and on the GT forums say "OMG this game is terrible, it is rushed, I cannot change gear ratios, I am going to sell it, blah blah blah.....but I really enjoy playing it!!"

What the **** are YOU talking about?!? You have not even played the damn game yet!!
I like this guy

I guess I just do not understand this mentality that games should be perfect. GT5 has it's flaws, as do all games. What is important, unless you have your head up your ***, is that you enjoy it. If you do not then it is time to sell the game, or get a life and letting a video game affect your mental and emotional health.

I haven't done it yet but some people say to mod the '69 Camaro or the Cobra. I find the Cobra to be slow off the line and exiting turns though.

The drivers do suck in the early stages of their "career". Believe me I've had a few races that I've had to redo a few times. But I've noticed as their experience goes up, they get better. Now my driver is starting to make moves he should have been doing from the start. I've noticed he doesn't brake that early much. Still does it but less often.
I think I'll have to start "developing" the other drivers though because I read that we're going to need them in the endurance races, multiple drivers.

so at what level do they stop sucking? Cause my driver is at level 16 and still has trouble in some races. Like the British Lightweight race, not sure what car for him to use. Cause he spins out in the car I used for that race.

It doesn't go by level but more on experience. The more your driver races, the better he gets. Almost like a real driver that has to develop his racing skills.
My B-Spec drivers have never spun so it might be your set-up or you might be pushing him too hard. Are you keeping the "slider" in the middle? I keep mine right there when I can, then when it starts moving to the red I "pace down" the driver until it gets back to the center.

I only tell him to pace up at start, since he'll just stay behind somebody and just ride their ***. After he jumps to ahead, I just leave him on his own and is now able to keep the other cars behind him. My driver has been in 90 races so far.

A well modded lotus elise 111r does well on the british lightweight.

As far as developing your other drivers ive never really thought of that lol!I did notice on the tuned car race that both his physical/mental strength was almost depleted.and with the endurance race it is a good idea to have them have some decent experience.
