new seasonals shows up and guess what happens.......my ps3 takes a dump on me fuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!light turns on and you can see the screen flickering like its trying to go on.im gonna let it sit during the night and hopefully its back on tomorrow so i can at least salvage my saves

and were back!!!!!oddly enough it wasnt the ps3 that threw a fit but my tv,dont know why i didnt thought of that last night.just swapped it to the other hdmi input of the tv and it was back.just made a permanent back of the save just in case it does happen next time 
its the 40gig version,my first gen ps3 got the ylod and i havent got it sent it out to be fixed,dont really trust that hair dryer technique.would rather pay and get it done right.
so anybody want to lend me a ferrari f1 so i can duplicate it?

the thing that sucks is... even if you make a back up, you cant transfer the save file to another ps3 i tried it. if your ps3 does take a crap, you will have to fix the ps3 and reload the save file onto the same ps3.

thats when the game save is copy protected but the gt5 isnt so its transferable 
a complete back up of your HDD is almost the size of the HDD.when i upgraded it to 500gig the back up size was almost 20gig(1st gen) which was kinda odd.

ok all this stress from last night just to be able to play seasonals just got me really somewhat disappointed.fiinshed the FF and FR races and its just like youre back grinding on aspec on the beginner series WTH?!?!?
i did one race in FF and that's how i felt. hopefully the Ferrari can score more points. if you still need a F10 or F2007, i can send one your way friday or saturday.

lol!! JZ said he can send me one so ill wait on that not unless i get one sooner from somebody else.but after doing some of the seasonal races im not quite excited to jump on it anytime soon.so for now grinding away on enduro's 
Do you think duping cars can lessen the life of your ps3??sticking flashdrives in and out, deleting and copying and saving data multiple times, just curious if that can do damage on tour system
