hey my girlfriend just got a 1990 240sx what mod should i do first on it? i was thinking exhaust and intake.

 

dont worry about the power, just do the suspension. my friend's 240 is stock power wise but is all done up suspension wise. he will dust anyone threw twisty's...

 

yea get all suspension done on that thing...then powerwise i think you only have one option. swap it!

first mod should be a sr20 black top (t28)

 

actually if it's a 90 just do a red top.. the old black tops and red tops were both t25's.. it wasn't till the later years where the black top became t28's

 

exhaust will make it sound even crappier, so no. intake is sorta just a waste of $50-100 or however much it costs.

imo, you should get coilovers (springs if you cant afford coilovers). ive heard Megans are good for their price on 240s. sway bars, some decent size wheels with good offset, and other handling mods. forget about power... save that for later.

Not to rain on your parade, but is it your car or her car? Did she buy the car to mod it? Are you going to get married? I just ask becasue if you dump a whole lot of money into her car and you break up...what will happen to all the parts that you paid for? Just a question man.

1. Ditch that pickup engine and get a SR20DET
They are pretty cheap and easy to locate.

If you really wanna get things going, check out JWT, nice ECU's, clutches, so on so forth.
