I am going to be looking at getting a car this weekend. The car is a 2004 2.5 TS wagon. It has roughly under 30k miles and the only owner has all the service records for it. It carries a clean title but has had the front hood replaced already due to a very minor accident. There is no structural damage whatsoever. She is offering 14k for the car. Is this a good deal? What do you guys think? She is willing to negotiate a bit as long as it is a fair price.

 

I think you get get an equivalently expensive turbo wagon for that amount. Check up on craigslist and compare.

 

I agree, check out Craigslist and there should be some WRX's around the same price with mileage a bit higher.

What are you going to use this car for? Daily driver?

 

Yeah this car would basically be my daily driver. I would love the WRX but the increased fuel consumption and higher insurance payments wouldn't be too practical for me at the moment. I just need a good all around DD and use for frequent trips to go snowboarding.
