Seeing as how nearly all of the united states technology and innovation comes from here..........................................i'd say thats a pretty stupid argument.

Silicon valley baby, end of story. Thats why the rest of the world has setup shop in CA. Taiw China. etc. for expanding its technology. If you are foreign tech company, you come to SJ.

I mean google, yahoo, apple/ every other tech company there is, blah blah blah.....................i'd say we are pretty far ahead of the game.

Also produce like 70% of the goods that come from the US, we grow all the good food and vegetables........................

we make the most money...............

i think that says enough!

CA FTW

Maybe I'm just sick of people doing whatever they want to others with no repercussion, or maybe I'm just sick of the emasculation of society that values some leech of society over something someone worked damn hard for....but, I really feel sick when I think about where this country is headed.

So, I guess no one has moved to CA for a job, right?

If each state were a closed system, what you said might be true. However, it's pretty stupid to think that all of the innovation and technology is produced by CA natives. Hell, even Bill Gates isn't a Californian....

Besides, not all Californians are world-class computer engineers or innovators - you're only talking about the very top percentile of the population. In fact, the median test scores show that the average Californian is, well, kinda dumb.

Actually, as of 2006, CA was #11 in terms of median household income.

I totally agree and it makes me sad. It's why you cannot get anyone to work on your car anymore without screwing something up. It's why kids key cars, it's basically that no one has any respect for anyone else's stuff. I personally feel that it starts with a lack of self respect as well. When I was a kid you just DID NOT mess with someone else's stuff PERIOD. Just because it was someone else's. That is totally gone today.

I don't know if he's saying that it is a gateway thing, I certainly do not think that there is a decided path one takes after stealing/vandalizing their first item. How I would say it is, it's all related. These kids had no respect for this man's opinions or his property - that probably means they don't have much respect for anyone else. No fear, no respect, no accountability. Who knows how they got that way, but it's a pattern that covers their entire way of being. The same lack of respect that allowed them to trash this guy's stuff will allow them to trash someone else's. It's not hard to figure out and it's EVERYWHERE today. Little punks talkin' trash to adults just because they know they aren't going to have to deal with the result of their actions - it's the same thing. No respect. The kind of discipline that made people respectful years ago is illegal, and the result is essentially today.

Except where you live... Just kidding

I think the retards are equally distributed nationwide and by population albeit they seem to be drawn to DC for routine meetings with other equally gifted members.

(Nationwide: Congressional Members)
(By Population: House of Representatives)
