I've got stock 16s running Azenis. I had the cruise control set and was rolling with the traffic around 70-80 I guess. Over that distance, on and off ramp acceleration is kinda negligable. Locally on freeway commute I usually get around 23.

I've been using my bike more recently though. It does better for two reasons: it does 35 mpg and it only needs 86 octane. Having said that, I probably blow all my savings by riding home via Skyline and 9.

I work at costco and i would highly recommend you ditch that gas. We have engines blow up on it, check engine lights come on....you name it and costco gas has done it. Seriously if you have a WRX, lose that gas. I would NEVER put that in my 25k investment. Maybe a bucket, but not my turbo subaru.

Once you get it tuned it's all good, but while you're tuning it, your milage sucks and you put extra miles on the car. Still, much cheaper than a dyno visit.
Shhhhhh!!!!

17 to 18 mpg here, but that's city driving and i usually don't keep it under 3k. on long highway trips i've gotten as high as 26~27 mpg.

unocal 76 near mission/potrero in san francisco = $2.65 for 91 octane.

and why oh why would you put 87 in your wrx? for $4 more per fill up you can get 91... well worth the investment not to mention the performance gains.
