how are getting 27 mpg? i get 21-22 with freeway driving. do you have 17s or 16s?

In Fremont, the gas price average is $2.30 for premium. Last night when driving through San Francisco, I saw $2.66. WTF!?

All depends on your mood of spirited driving. If you keep at 70mph, and never shifter higher than the 3K mark, you'll get about 330 before having to pump, probably more. Remember this is entirely driving SLOW (as in 5th gear by the time you're at 50mph, meaning you have to drag *** on the on ramp and get used to Geo Metros tail gatin' for a second or so.) I tend to get bored once and a while and cruise hard on the freeway, and I still get about 300 the least.

try getting 17.77mpg... that's driving SLOW...

once & ONLY once have I broken that mark... (19.24mpg) but it's never been lower than 16.35mpg...

That's about 240 miles on one tank... rotaries make sjt wanna cry...

Thats horrible. What is the EPA rating on the RX-8?

18mpg city.
25mpg hwy.

& that's the AUTOMATIC!!!

The manual gets 1 mpg worse hwy... WTF???
