G-Tech...is it worth it?

how accurate is it?
is it a cool thing to have..they are not too pricey, but I dont want to buy one if its a complete waste of money..

my cousin got one on his GTI. and i used few time on my car. 1/4miles 13.84 sec. 0-60 5.23 sec. the new is cool i want one too, but dont want to spend $250 for it...

i've never used one but i heard the new one was pretty accurate. Some say they have used it at the track and it's always within .1 seconds of their acual 1/4 time. I think in the near future my friends and I are all going to chip in some money and we will buy one and then whenever someone needs to use it they can.
