No, you did nothing of the sort. You came in here, let everyone know you're keeping this phone, and you wanted to know how to jailbreak it and make it yours...which from my point of view is keeping something that doesn't belong to you. You made no ACTIVE attempt to find the owner - you passively sit there and waited for the phone to ring - however, since the SIM was deactivated (as most people would do when they lose their phone), the owner COULDN'T call the phone. For you to say you don't know this is to say that you're rather stupid.
i like that line here. since the sim card was deactivated. DUH that she can't call me. and???? AHHAHAHA okay??? no shi* i know that. if she not even going to call the phone, then why should i drive to the ATT store to look for her??? are you joking??? wow

to me what does it means is being dishonest? if i found the phone and simply took the sim card out and turn off the phone and get it unlock right when i found the phone. that is obviously dishonest and something i wouldn't do.
i have found phones before, i look up the contact list and i called the person on the last called list, and have that person contact the owner to pick it up from me. so i have done those things before. but no in this case because her phone was locked.

Of course, you couldn't read the entire statement in context or you'd have noticed the sentence started with a qualifier word - IF - to give you a choice IF you fit the description. Oh, and the numerous "F" words you've used in the thread towards several people, myself included - you'd better not live in a glass house if you're going to pitch stones at others.

If the telephone is LOCKED, HOW are you going to answer it if she DOES CALL?
Not sure how much simpler to make the question for you to understand it. I blame the education system for your failure in reading comprehension.

I own an iPhone, thanks for asking. Never had the issue. My last phone was unable to be used as anything but a paperweight when it was locked - you couldn't send/receive/answer/text/etc. when it was locked down.

Again, since you didn't seem to figure out what I asked:
If the telephone is LOCKED, HOW are you going to answer it if she DOES CALL?
Not sure how much simpler to make the question for you to understand it. I blame the education system for your failure in reading comprehension.

even when the phone is locked, when a call comes in, all you have to do is slide your finger across the screen to answer the call =]
i mean i just didn't expect you gonna ask me that. because i thought its 21 century and people would known that...sorry..didnt mean to make you feel old...or out of style or anything like that.

true, but IMO i did my part by leaving the phone on, leave my number at the store, and waiting for the owner to call me. so IMO if she decided not to look for the phone, i dont think there is anything wrong keeping the phone to my self.
