DD if its not your place. anything on the property belongs to someone else and no matter what you think about what you are doing, you are destroying their property. just because something isn't nice green grass doesn't mean you can destroy it, its not yours to make that decision.

Doesn't that apply to the runways as well? Trespassing is trespassing whether it's on the dirt or the paved runway. Someone owns this site and has the legal right to prosecute any of you that get caught on that property. According to the website Steve posted, most of the site is owner by the county and the rest is still owned by NASA. I don't think either one of them will take too kindly to a bunch of cars running around on their property. It's a giant liability for them.

wrX you are totally right, unless we have permissision you will be at risk of getting fined or something else. I think it would be much worse if we were tearing around the grass and the cops showed up...

Ya...pics would be great....

I realize just because we have the ability to be there doesnt mean we can go racing or tearing around in the dirt...but I know of plenty of places where dirtbikes ride and such and they usually just get a warning about tresspassing.

Im sure if the sheriff doesnt want us doing it they will warn us first, expecially if its a larger group (one sheriff Vs. 20 ppl wouldnt be pretty, so they dont want to cause conflict and get a group riled up w/o backup). Not that im saying any of us WOULD do that, but she sheriff doesnt know that, so they would probly sway on the side of caution.

I say lets set up a meet...hopefully I could make the long *** drive because I dun wanna pay too much for gas

I'm going to have to pass on driving there, as I can't see trashing a full set of tires for one afternoon of fun. I'd be down to go hang out though, anytime would be cool.

maybe when i get my 18s i'd drive... then i'd be more than happy to shred my stockers!!!
