foglight/cruise control switch illumination?
My 2002 WRX sedan, the foglight switch and cruise control switch are no longer illuminated when I click on the headlights. I asked my local dealer's parts dept if there is a bulb back there, but he couldn't find anything in his electronic lookup. Has anybody else changed the bulb, or is it part of the switches? Or maybe it is a wiring issue? Thanks for your help-

There are bulbs back there that are about 5 mm in length and 2 mm in diameter.
If you pull the buttons out and look at the side of the button, there are two circles, both with + in them. You can use a flat head to twist counter clockwise to loosen. It's hard to get them out since they weigh nothing, you might have to use a smaller flathead to wedge it out.
I don't know why your buttons aren't turning on, but it may not be a bulb problem if they're on when your headlights are off.
May have a burnt fuse, I'd check the fuse box first.
Hope this helps.

my lights burned out pretty early on me. found this online and saved me a trip down to the dealer to get ripped off on a tiny bulb.
