You must be making some good money. You just picked up a FMIC and 18g. =\

It took me close to 5 years to start modding my car.

At 18 I could barely afford lunch money.

For DP I'd go Crucial Divorced.

What are your plans for your car?
Are you trying to push as much power as you can out of your car?

the BOV and intake are not helping any bro.

I would seriously suggest going back to the stock BPV and Intake for the time being until you have everything installed and are ready for the tune. the BOV and Intake are only beneficial when running upwards of 275 WHP. but with a custom tune you can run them safely with the setup you are planning on running.

ok so first of all if people wanna research on the fmic.. i have to remove my stock air box anyways which means short ram or cold air. i choose cold air because why would i wanna have it breath in hot air from the engine? thats if im right im pretty sure i have to remove it as part of the install but be happy to correct me if im wrong. and on top of that the bov was a present so why not use it? does it really hurt the engine? does anyone have actuall prove that it screws up the motor?

How many miles do you have on the car? Running 300+whp which the 18g is capable of, the stock tranny won't last long if you already have a lot of miles on it. And I know you say you have hookups or what not, but it will still cost ya a pretty penny.

That tranny probably doesn't have much more time on it then, especially with more power. Mine started to go around 70k with 260whp then I traded in the car before it was to late =P

hahaha smart... well i love my car to much and i dont want to let her go.. so if i do have to rebuild it i might either source for a sti tranny or look for a set of ra gears. btw would a set of helix 820cc injectors be to big?

understand im not trying to bash on you, dont take it offensively. the BOV is making you run rich between shifts. this can be resolved with a tune, but what im saying is it was not a good move installing the FMIC if you dont have the bigger turbo yet. You will lose the drivability of the due to the lag of the FMIC on a stock turbo. now if you're doing it for looks, thats another story.

as for the transmission, I wouldnt bother spending the money on a STi swap unless you plan on pushing more than 350WHP, the PPG or RA gears should hold up and cost a hell of a lot cheaper.

now to the injectors, skip the Helix and try out the RC injectors. I know quite a few individuals that run them and have had very good experience with them. I wanted to run them but they do not make side-feed injectors at the moment.

good luck with your car bro and hopefully you get the issues resolved.

alrighty then because there is a set of helix 820cc injectors for 449.99 new... and i was hopin to get those but i wanted to see if anyone else have tried em out yet. and as soon as i get my turbo, fuel pump and injectors on, im going to do a custom tune. hoping to hit around 280-300. until that happens im going to use the stock tranny then buy a set of ra gears when she blows..

not saying the Helix are bad, but I personally would go with RC's or DeatschWerks just cause I know that people have had good results with both. but all those parts won't do a thing for you wihout a proper tune so search through the forums and see what other people are doing with similar mods as yours and which tuner they decided to go with.
