I was curious how well these Hankook R-S2s handled the wet and was really surprised yesterday.
From quick take offs, to flat sweepers off the expressways, these tires handle very well in the foaming wet roads.
sucks dood, but slow down if you don't know your car in the rain.

the road was slippery, i was getting off the freeway, and the first stop light making a left turn, the light was green, i was going around 25MPH, and turned left, my car just started to understeer....and just looking at the curb coming closer and closer to me. then bang! hit my front wheel and part of my bumper, not very bad, but bad enough you can see it. ill try to post some pictures later...becareful driving out there guys.

. This is the first thing everyone has to learn when driving in low traction conditions. If you look where you want to go, your body will usually take care of the rest.

Carefull when you have those crappy *** tires.
Next mod, as much as I want suspension, will be tires. Tires are like your skin... Most important part of your car (well, one of them). Make sure you get good ones. And so you know, which most n00bs don't, most summer tires are GREAT in the rain, like S03s, etc.

So far my least fav tires have been Falken ZIEX 512's I had on my Celica. Utter CRAP. RE-92's do suck, but they are OK and an absolute blast on gravel.

i haven't owned S-03's for a while, but when I had them they were effin great.

Thanks.
both bridgestones
If you want great rain tires, get the pzero nero m/s
Best all around tires you can buy IMO. Great in the rain/snow, still tons of traction in the dry, good treadwear life

. This is the first thing everyone has to learn when driving in low traction conditions. If you look where you want to go, your body will usually take care of the rest. One of the biggest driving peaves I have is people that put one hand on the wheel at the 12 o'clock position. You have the least control of your vehicle when steering with one hand!
1) If your air bag deploys, your hand will be forced to punch the ceiling, or your face. If you have a watch on your hand, it will most likely be imprinted on your forhead. In addition to this, your ONLY steering input is no longer on the wheel, so gravity and momentum steers you after impact.
2) You don't see rally drivers steering with one hand except when shifting.
3) Like Ed said, look where you want your car to go. This does not mean look directly in front of your car. Look 5 car lengths ahead of you.
