its crazy that people would hate someone because they use a certain phone...
i dont like touchscreen phones, so ive got a blackberry bold.. i like the keyboard...
i know many people with iphnes, i dont like them, but wouldnt go far as to get all brand loyal and actually hate on others with a different phone

Now everything said, there are features of the iphone I can apreciate. For one any braindead idiot user can pick one up and use it in a few moments. Where as with the android phone I had to hold a hour class to get some of my users to understand the basics. However, I would still give someone a iphone over the ****ing blackberry. Thats one OS that someone should be shot for comming up with.

Yea the Iphone has a fairly simplistic UI. Just a few of the reasons why I dont like it, its too simple for advanced users and I like to tweak with a lot of stuff on my htc, so it doesnt fly for me. The UI isnt appealing at all, maybe for someone who has never picked up a smart phone before and is their first time using it, but not for me. Sure Iphones always look sleak and futuristic for the majority of the population because they like to show off their new shiny TOY with a good camera and high resolution screen. It does the job to look like a pretty boy I guess. Thats why there are more things made for the Iphone products, because people love pretty looking things, its all about making money. Who cares if its a crappy product or not, if it sells, they make money.
Aside from that, this thread makes me laugh! I dont care what you have to say, I like using my HTC because it suits my usages and I can make it do what I want. You like the Iphone because it makes your life easier, sure thats a perfectly sound reason.
I would never switch to a Iphone though because I hate typing on touch screens. Im a old school feedback kind of guy.

Droid and iPhone both have those followers, soooooo, there's that. 
Like I showed in my last post, you can find anecdotal evidence to support anyone's facts (err, I mean opinions?), so arguing over which one is better is a lost cause as it makes all parties involved look like jackasses.

It's happened at least 4 times where the DROID user is trying to tell the iPhone user all the amazing things they can do with their phone and the iPhone user is like "but.. I don't care, and my phone does what I want it to" and then the argument turns to how they are dumb because they don't care or something along those lines.

BTW - what is a "bumper" that the iPhone comes with? I have yet to meet a person who as A SINGLE COMPLAINT about their personal iPhone, however lots of people who have NEVER USED ONE complain about them a lot.
Also, I hated touch-screen phones but for some reason I am not bothered by the iPhone except that I am in NYC now and it's hard to use with gloves, and when I try to use it with my nose, I walk into stuff.

Yeah, the worst thing ever is an argument between the two, and more-so when approached by the ROID user. When it's around me, it usually goes on for a few minutes and then I stand up and am like: HEY!! You like your phone, right? "yeah" and you like yours right? "uhh yeah" OKAY THEN BOTH OF YOU STFU ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The camera was a zillion times better and more usable on my Berry, and as an avid "must have a hardware keyboard" person for years, I am not bothered at all by the touch screen. I like the iPhone I am using for this reason: it has not yet failed me. Also, I think I am really pretty and I like shiny stuff. Yeah!
