Well I can't plug a EVO 4G (or droid or any other android phone) into my car stereo an control all functions via the deck like a iPhone, pandora FTW...I know it sounds simple but EVERYTHING is made for the iPod and iPhone

Though, Android phones do have car dock mode that makes things like change songs more accessible.

Love my evo4g I have it blutooth to my car stereo and my stereo becomes my phone and does voice texting. But then again I just plain love my new car and stereo unit does so much I haven't seen all it actually does. Bonus my deck is voice activated so its truly hands free. As for my phone I haven't used a laptop or computer since June of last year I do everything on my phone.

ok i have owned apple computers since 1985 and I can tell you that i will never own a Ipod or ipad or iphone, matter of fact since mac went to intel cpu's I build my own computer and buy the os from apple and run that because it is still more stable than windows. but I feel that unless apple gets the iphone for all carriers it will lose to the android phones. I just got my second android phone the lg optimus s and I like it better than my evo. and once you root them and overclock the processor they rock!

I almost didn't wake up. My internal alarm clock got me up. Same thing happened to iOS on daylight savings. The y2k bug wa similar, and this problem affected some builds of windows mobile 5. It's a rookie mistake for apple to have these issues. The qa dept should be just as big as the internal developer dept. From experience, Usually it's no where close.

Mine and my husbands evos alarm worked during dst and now. Why of all things would an alarm not work just because the year changed?
I know about 2 am our phones got a new software update. Did Apple do an update that stopped the alarms on the iPhone?

38 million android sold worldwide, 90 million iPhones sold... I think apple is still winning. Also when the iPhone goes to verizon I'm sure 20 million more would be sold lol
But look at what phones are selling more NOW, remember apple phones have been out a good 2 years more than android was. Right now the hottest phones on the market are android based phones and there is no sign of that stopping.

I have a lot of customers with iPhones and every one of has something bad to say about ATT and the phone itself.
One guy went through FOUR phones in one month, with none of them being physically abused/damaged.
I've been using Verizon for about 8yrs now and can't tell y'all he number of times I've handed my phone to an ATT customer because they had ZERO signal.
Currently using the Droid X and like it. Some of the issues I have with it are as follows:
1. When selecting a contact, most of the time there's a long lag time from when I touch the screen and the call is placed.
2. I can't see pictures on i-club.
3. Sometimes when it has multiple windows open the browser locks up.
4. If I leave the satellite connection running, the battery dies very fast.
I will readily concede that I am a high tech Luddite and that I may be cause of the aforementioned issues.

Like overbear said, you have to compare sales within say the last 1 or 2 years and see how those numbers compare.

I agree that it's hit n miss with coverage BUT for me and lifestyle, travel habits, etc, Verizon flat beats ATT in coverage.
Of all the Droid owners that I personally know and interact with on a regular basis, not one has major complaint with hardware or service.

I have verizon and AT&T and I can tell you from personal use that When I dont have service with AT&T I have it with Verizon, when I don't have service with Verizon i have full 3g on my Iphone. It's hit or miss with every service out. But I like having full 3g in Lake Tahoe and I get that With AT&T. only place I have better service with verizon is on SF. Data with iphone kills my data with my verizon android phone. It is what it is... choose the service that works best for you not what p[hone a company has.
