Well, it seems as though you're having good luck with another shop. Really good luck if you ask me. When I was dealing with Fine Line Imports when I first moved up here (and didn't know where to take the 'roo for proper care), I had to spend hours and even days hunting them down trying to give them my business. They wouldn't answer the phone most of the time, they wouldn't return phone call messages, and they wouldn't work on my car because I had gotten all of the FACTORY parts from another source. I had done so because my Subaru SVX has a lot of intricate and different parts that aren't found on the new age Subarus, and requires that I research and get the RIGHT parts.

Thankfully, I found a shop (LIC Motorsports) who was happy to have my business, charged me a fair and reasonable rate for the labor to install FACTORY parts that I had taken the time to acquire, AND did the job right the first time. Ever since that, I drive the half hour + to their shop to get ALL work done on my Subaru, rather than the 15 minutes it would take to go to the local shop. Now LIC is one of only two shops in North America where I'll take my vehicle for mechanical work.

Amazing what a little customer service can do!!

my advice: make appointments.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~
When customers miss their appointments and walk-ins can't get done, the shop gets screwed.
And when those customers that missed their appointments come late and then there's no time for them to be seen, they complain when its their fault that they missed their appointment.
There's good reasons why some shops have a "first come-first served" basis, because the only way to get everyone to keep their appointments is to charge them if they miss their appointment.
Doctors and Dentists and others do that, but lemme guess you guize wouldn't want to pay that right??
I have nothing but good things to say about Mike and the rest of the Gruppe-S crew, they are not a hair short of top notch.
Often what a customer suspects and diagnoses over the phone isn't what it winds up being, and that's the nature of the game, I'm sorry it worked out like that.
I like the guys are Gruppe-s, they try hard and will work with you.
But I also understand your problem, I don't have much free time and to drive all the way over then not being taken care of is hard. But what can he do if there just aren't enough people?
If you are that angry then go someplace else, at least we are in the bay area where there is someplace else to go
Yeah, the stain came right out... I hope your *** is feeling okay today. You seemed to be in a heap of pain after I left.
