Haha... didn't need the "bolts" (it's actually a "stud") stripped. I just needed a new stud and nut because the originals had froze.

I'm sorry mate but I never refused to look at the suspension, I simply said that I could not do any of the downpipe work until Wednesday.

Gagan came in out of hours we happened to be there finishing up the last car on the lift, he waited until it was taken off then Devin looked at it while we got the car that was on the lift unto the dyno.

Just to close this thread.
I went to gruppe-s via the numerous i-club recs. After being rejected, I looked on i-club for exhaust places and the ones i found weren't very good at all.... ("what's a downpipe?" "we don't carry flanges or gaskets.")
I didn't have a stripped turbo, I said I had a stripped stud.
I would have been plenty happy with JUST my strut being fixed or checked out... but neither was an option.
When it came down to it, I stated that i would be the first person and that was appointment enough for me.
I don't doubt that gruppe-s is great. But, stating no appt is necessary a week in advance and not even being able to give my car a look was pretty rough.
Money was absolutely no object . I would have been willing to pay for their expertise just to look at my car.
I understand that gruppe-s gives excellent service to people... and am impressed that gagan was able to come in last minute and get it checked out. I totally back anyone who goes to gruppe-s regularly and gets work done to their car and receive great service. It's just that I have great respect for anyone that treats first time customers with great respect.... and I don't believe I was fully respected.

The strut isn't fixed.
I moved to the North Bay today and will get my car fixed up there.
