yay, lets buy a turbo car in butt-F-Arizona! poor cars, thats like child abuse putting your intercooler thru 100+ degree weather
135i FTW......as long as the new EVO/STi cost almost 40K.
unless this changes, subaru is about to have made a big mistake in pricing so high. remember when the STi was under 30K....what, 2 or 3 years ago?

yeah I have to agree with a lot of posters here - at this price point the 135i actually sounds like a good bang for the buck lol!
jesus man, you just can't MSRP an EVO for $40k when a corvette comes in at 45... and granted it never happened b/c of markups but esp when Ford msrp'd the GT500 at $42k

Wouldn't be surprised is Suzuki's SX4 starts getting attention if it does well in the WRC. Small, cheap.. could be a good base to start with for amateur rally teams.

^ for sure! I LOVE THE SX4...more than any other "rally" car as far as looks to be honest. not in stock form of course...more like this one...
Tighter overhangs than a mini-cooper

THE SWIFT IS A CLOSE SECOND...only because its FWD which is just as funner in dirt than RWD IMO (because e-brake+ FWD is awesome) but for the street it wouldnt be so hot.

damn almost $2000 for Nav. you could buy a laptop and google earth for that price and keep it in your passenger seat!
It's not hard to grasp the fact that Subaru jacked up the price once it developed an addiction among those in the states... but at $39k MSRP... even the most devoted STi enthusiast is going to chuckle when the salesman talking any where near $40k+ OTD...with warranties...
Evo... fancy tranny or not... $40k.... also receives an
The STi always seemed to be the car that stood up to those rich guys in nice, $40-60k cars that:
1) didn't know much about cars
and
2)didn't know how to drive their expensive car...
If the STi sells anything like the 08 WRX, then the price will come down because all they will collect is dust. Those who can afford a $40k+ STi are going to be a different crowd than the current crowd.
Like those said before... just like the Supra, RX7, and other cars that started getting priced above the market... it will be it's own demise.
And that Suzuki is CLEAN!
