Ethics question
the law is, whatever the price is agreed upon by the seller and buyer, then that is what must be used.
now, it is often the policy of the store to let the customer purchase an item that the price tag says.
but if the store says no, then it doesnt have to sell the item at the incorrect marked price.
often, the bigger the store, the more their pricing policy is better for the benefit of the customer.
Reminds me of this.. sometimes at a drive thru I give them $5 for my food, and sometimes you get change for a $20 back. I don't say anything cause how many times have you not gotten all your food? or the wrong food?
You probably pay so much more than you have to so many times, what's wrong with paying only a quarter of the cost of something once in awhile?

dude, are you serious? is it ethical for companies to make so much profit on things when they mark them up so high? look at chevron and mobile? do you have any idea how much profit they made last year when we got screwed? do you know why macys has a 70-90% off sale? because they mark the damn products 5000%.

purchase it for the price it took to create the product. if a $400 product only took $75 to make it, the rest of the price is for 1) profit 2) commercials, advertising 3) transportation and so on. its ethical to purchase the price that is listed, but not ethical for the sellers to give a unfair price.
many items go from the manufacture to a distributor (theres one profit) and then from the distributor to the retailer (another profit) and then from the retailer to the consumer (3rd profit) so the retailer even is getting it for more than it takes to create it
