Hey guys, my headers should be here by wednesday or thursday of next week.
So here is a list of parts I know I need to get.
1 - STI 2.5 L Oil Pan
1 - OEM STI Oil Pump (because of the upgraded larger STI oil pan)
1 - New upgraded STI pickup tube
1 - Pack of gummy worms and a can of pepsi...
The links are what I am looking at. Does that seem right to you guys? Am I missing anything? The oil pan I will pickup from the dealership some time soon

Gonna bump this thread with thumbs up for EL header which I finally got to install, I love it.
Parts I needed to make it work were:
Oil Cooler Assembly - 21311AA051
Oil Feed Pipe - 21317AA022
My car has an EJ255 which already came with the STi oil pan. If yours didn't, you will need that. Bugeyes and STis shouldn't need the oil cooler, but '06/'07 WRXs will. I have pictures from the oil cooler install here.
I picked up some midrange and the car sounds different, the bassy pulsing sounds are gone and my 3" exhaust is easier to live with now. Here is a dyno sheet with new tune vs. the old tune.
Old setup: VF43, STi TMIC, ported STi manifolds, COBB catted downpipe, stock midpipe, Prodrive 2.5" oval-tip axleback, GREEN air filter.
New setup: VF43, STi TMIC, MadDad EL header and uppipe, Invidia V4 downpipe, MadDad 3" dual-tip catback, Walbro 255, OEM air filter.

Yeah, it does alright for a wagon that's often associated with older folk and womenz of alternative lifestyles. More power would be good, but my tranny and pistons won't like that. But yeah, looks like an EL header makes a noticeable difference even with a dinky STi turbo at fairly low PSI.

Interesting, what makes you think that? I suppose it's possible, but the few graphs I have from the same dyno with my car at different stages seem to be pretty consistent, with gains visible after parts were changed.
Just for comparison, this was my car stock:
And this was the previous tune vs. stock:

I find it funny that everyone recommends the usage of the STi oil cooler to clear the headers. I never had to get the Sti oil cooler for my FXT or my 06wrx for my Invidia EL length headers to go on. Maybe it has to do with certain EL headers?

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take a picture. I'll snap some when the weather permits

I've seen pictures where '06 WRX owners would bend the front-facing hardline to make it fit. I decided to just get the cooler, it isn't cheap though.

I suggest putting the front end on stands, fire it up, stick one end of some vacuum tubing in your ear, and check all flanges and gasket'ed areas with the other end of the tubing.

Could be how The car was tuned, maybe Miles could answer that question. You do install work or did FLI? I don't see FLI letting something like that slip buy but I could be wrong.......

I install everything myself. It could be the way Miles is ramping up the boost. We haven't noticed any leaks during the tune, but I'll get under the car on ramps again and check it out again -- I haven't noticed leaks 'till now, but the car does have a different sound now, so it may not be as apparent.
The gains are very noticeable and I actually like how the power comes in now better, it's smoother and pulls harder in the mid range to the redline.

ya you are right...it is hard to say when the boost is not up around 18-19 psi. Maybe he just softened the torque curve to save your tranny. Either way it does not hurt to check
