Hmm... never seen that one before. The ECU has nothing to do with the air bag system AFAIK. Check fuses and relays before anything else

I've seen those but have never had a chance to try to flow much air through one. Its great in terms of MAF scaling for larger setups, but I'm not sure how well it'll actually flow since I believe it still uses the same size panel filter.

Thanks

Thank you, Ed! Could you explain this a bit more? Is it running hotter than a CAI (still heatsoaking) or just more restrictive compared to a true CAI. Do you consider AEM CAI to be a "real" CAI? Just trying to decide between these two for a future mod.

Check out this 2011 STI we tuned today. This car started out bone stock with about 3500 miles on it. Today we added an MBC and performed a custom tune. The results are VERY impressive!

The red curves are bone stock and the blue curves are with just MBC and custom tune.

I ran boost at 17.5psi tapering to about 14psi by redline. The car felt very smooth and quick during the road test. I believe this is the most power I've seen with just a tune. Its amazing how little power these cars make on the stock ECU and how well they do when tuned properly.

Thanks

^^ yeah that. How many X's have you tuned? are you familiar with tuning them or are they kinda new to you still? I loved the tune on the STi and was hoping on could tune my X when it was time.

Thanks.
Matt
