On the 09+ WRX's, I recommend upgrading the TMIC as well when going to E85. Otherwise, the fuel pump, injectors, boost controller, and tune will get you going.

I was actually going to ask about upgrading the TMIC on my 2011 WRX, but I haven't found anyone really offering something that seems like much of an upgrade. It all seems like it's repainted stock ones with maybe a couple of CC's difference in size. What do you recommend doing?

Other than being bigger in size, another big difference is the end tanks. If the 08+ WRX is the same as LGT's, the endtanks are plastic, and tend to "blow up" at high boost. Aftermarket IC are usually all metal, and let's you up the boost safely.

I will have a Perrin TMIC FS soon when my FMIC comes in.

The Process West TMIC is a nice piece overall, but we have seen a few of them with some leaks from the welds. Sadly it is the best option out there, so I just recommend getting one, testing for leaks, and getting it warrantied if it does leak.

derek get one fitted for an 05-09 legacy.. that top mount will possibly blow just like mine did at full boost.... the processwest is definitely nice but if youre more on a budget theres a ipr topmount on import imae for 600$ check out what people say on the legacygt.com forum.

That's the main problem. Those plastic endtanks don't do so well with increased boost

Well theres horror stories of them blowing at stock boost too, they just wear out over time. Horrible design on subaru's part. Esp cause its still being used.....
