I was actually going to ask about upgrading the TMIC on my 2011 WRX, but I haven't found anyone really offering something that seems like much of an upgrade. It all seems like it's repainted stock ones with maybe a couple of CC's difference in size. What do you recommend doing?

Other than being bigger in size, another big difference is the end tanks. If the 08+ WRX is the same as LGT's, the endtanks are plastic, and tend to "blow up" at high boost. Aftermarket IC are usually all metal, and let's you up the boost safely.
I will have a Perrin TMIC FS soon when my FMIC comes in.
