Hey -- thanks for the ideas -- I am near Rossmore in Walnut Creek.
Diablo Imports want $500, WC Subaru wants $550... the best I could find through a recommendation is $450 from Valley Imports in San Ramon. $450, is that reasonable, or should i keep looking -- I dont think I am going to drive 1 hour to get this done... wish I hada the tools to do it myself!

I wouldn't take my car anywhere else other than MPJ.. I have to drive farther than you would but it is totally worth it (that is if you love your car). MPJ knows their stuff and almost 80% of the cars they work on are subarus.. at least that is what I see everytime I go there..
