Well, metal expands when hot. Whatever might be loose when cold is now tight due to the expanded metal "filling" up the empty space that causes enough room for things to move/rattle or that are out of wack.

When its nice and warm, she purrs like a kitten......and No, there is no smoke out the TP....nada....just this knocking sound when its cold.... I just dont get it......<stumped>
