other than rotating the tires, changing oil, checking all fluid levels is there anything i should do to prep the car for the 3800 mile, 4 day trip?

That sounds like an awful long way, but thats about it, Be sure to check everything everyday too, you wont want to get stranded in the middle of nowhere. Also, carry fluids and whatnot with you.

full service before you leave, and plenty off cash for the trip.

Bring some KY in case you break down along the way =).

But seriously, bring a mini survival kit just in case you get stuck somewhere, get a flat, etc.
It's always nice to have some extra water, granola bars, or whatever just in case.

I also bring a tire plug kit in case I get a nail in a tire and don't want to run on the mini spare.

Sounds like a fun trip. Drive safe.
