You are not the only ones, I too get it. But its not every time, only sometimes. I also got it from my Dodge Intrepid.

Me too, I get shocked on everything. Every time I'm about to open a metal door I touch the back of my hand to it first just to get the shock over with, very annoying :\ I guess some people are just like that, probably has to do with the clothes we wear or something.

the worst is when you lean a little too close to the window when you get out of the car, and your nipple gets shocked.
or when you get shocked when you try to take the key out of the ignition.

Might be low humidity - I don't think I ever get a static spark on the handle when it's raining or foggy out.

I'll even get that spark at home if the air is very dry, especially after petting the cats. They hate it when I touch their nose and a little spark happens.

ditto on th weather. i used to have a homemade grounding kit and it seemed to stop the static shocks.

So that explains it... I told my wife it was my shocking personality, but alas I'm wrong again- I'll stick to my story with her but very interesting that I'm not the only person getting shocked...
