yeah, with that 7 liter V8, I mean the GT30 isn't even that big for a 3.5 liter engine, so that thing should have great street drivability. The guy who did the 8.9 run launched @ 1800 rpms! and you can prob. get a corvette with no motor for like, 15-20 grand?

you don't want to start with a normal 'vette, the Z06 has big brakes, lightweight, suspension, etc.

Pretty cool. About a year ago, they had a race on TV between this Vette and a Blue Angel F18 Fighter from a dead start. The Vette smoked the F18 in the 1/4 mile. But once the F18 afterburners came on... it was over.
