My brother in law has been trying to get ahold of the people at Capitol Subaru and all he ends up getting are voicemails, rejected calls, and txt's.

He is currently trying to buy a 2011 Wrx, and Capitol Subaru is the closest dealership in the area that has the wrx he wants. The next closest being in Las Vegas, NV which is a VERY VERY long drive, just to buy a car.

If anyone could be of assistance this would be great. He is serious about buying and would like some more information or to even be able to hold a conversation w/ someone without being told to call back just to get voicemails.

He lives in Elk Grove, CA but I'm staying down by Berryessa so not too far from Capitol Subaru. I can always bring him down but he would like some more information first. If anyone in the area has any info please feel free to pm if I don't reply fast to this thread.

 

if it's THAT hard to get a hold of a dealer, i'd rather take my business somewhere else.

he could always have a dealer order what he wants if he's willing to wait...

Give stevens creek subaru a call and ask for Mark Moore. He will give you a good deal. Just mention that Anthony Heng sent you. I have bought 2 cars from him and it was always easy and no negotiation needed.

 

No more 2011 can be order, Subaru is back log from the orders before the quake, they had stop taking orders for 2011 to clear the backlog and it might be just before the 2012 are ready to be order again.

in that case... is it worth it to be super picky about the options? cars can be changed.

According to Capitol Subaru's website...they don't have any WRX's. I'd recommend talking to Jamie or Eugene there.

By the way I stopped by Stevens Creek this week, they have 1 silver STi sedan, and one white wrx hatch as far as 2011 models...and THAT'S IT. 2011 WRX's are hard to come by post-earthquake.

 

Hey bro, tell him to check out Autowest Subaru in Roseville, they have only one left for $26,323. It's WR Blue Pearl & brand new-better hurry cuz this **** ain't gonna last too long on the lot! Plus, it's hella closer to Elk Grove than San Jose, at least go check it out, it might not be exactly what he's looking for, but when it comes to 2011 WRX's, beggars can't be choosers since the disaster in Japan dude! Who knows, maybe he'll like it enough to drive home-lol.

OP, looks like you are in SJ. If that was my brother, I would've gone to the dealership and checked it out for him.

 

He wanted to go himself once he had the money. He ended up calling some place from Oregon and they offered him 30,000 out the door for a fully loaded wrx premium. He only wants a sedan as well.


Also I know the whole quake issue, and he had tried to get wrx sooner but it was no good at the time due to cash issues. I'll have him call anyways. Thanks a lot guys.

 

All in all, car was bought today and driven back from Oregon today. Thanks for the help anyways guys.

not sure how accurate it is, but as of today the website shows 4 wrx's and 2 sti's

 

They do have 2 STIs (2011 sedan) - one is new, another one has 800 miles on it. I think I saw WRX(s) also (yesterday).
