DIY thread

Post all your sick do it yourself mods here, no bolt ons!

Since I've been unemployed, I decided to to some major work on the impreza. Somehow this happened:

I used just a 3" 6061 aluminum U bend, a hacksaw, some misc aluminum scrap, and a miller dynasty (woot) 350dx at the local community college.

It's going to feed this:

It turned out way better than I expected and will complement the other stupid decisions going on the car today; more custom crap whoring to follow.

Updated with pictures of the T28-16G hybrid stupidity. Once the JB weld dries on one of the coolant feed lines it'll get buttoned up.....

Thumbs up

And, it runs. Fairly well I might add considering nothing is stock before the throttle body

I do, but all I got is ghetto fab(ricated) mods...

Like my replacement firewall grommets, my radiator hoses, my radiator fans, my hoses, my inlet hose nipples... I can go on and on...

Lol I'm using the upper radiator hose from my RS for the blow-off valve recirc. ghetto fab or not you should post up!

Oh, and this turbo setup is the business. For some reason it only pushes 11psi with my basemap that was at 14psi on the tdo4...... but goddam when this gets it's EQ tune it's over
