Dan and I met about two years ago when I just got my wagon. After that, whenever we would see each other at a meet, we'd always get along peacefully. He'd always be cheerful and approach me first.

Looking there, I just can't imagine how he passed. I've seen worse sites, worse accidents, people walk away. I've been a rollover, no seatbelt, and had only 2 cuts. What happened to Dan Eckerman way back, when Brucelee and I went to his accident site on hwy 9, we were just astounded that anyone could have survived. But he's well and fine (THANK GOD!) and I just looked at this site and just felt "how could this have been fatal?!"... how...

I just don't see how it happened. What an unbelievable event. I logged into AIM, and stared at my friend list, and I just wished he'd be on, that he'd be there.

 

Aye...when I logged into my computer for the first time after it happened - there was our last FB chat...still there...Sedona red wagon telling me 'Hey bro, take care.'

Broke my ****ing heart.

 

I'm sure that Thursday I will meet a lot of new faces and see a lot of old, and yes its sad that this is what brings us together, but with as many lives that were touched by dan's huge heart, he would be happy that we came together.

 

If my car was running I would come out and stay for a few hours tomorrow

it was definitely good to see everyone earlier this evening. im still in shock of what happened. work was tough getting through the day today with everything on my mind.

the memorial we had set up made me break down even more, im just glad i have friends that are always there when i need them especially in times like this.

i will come back to the site and leave my little token of respect to mr joe bob bucket.

i know many of us met Daniel at a meet and Thursday is going to be a big mvkk gather but panda and i were thinking, why not meet up on friday night as well over at bubble/ quickly??? i know a lot of us had met Daniel at that particular location and weve shared many memories there with photoshoots and what not. just an idea we had and was throwing it out there to see what everyone thinks. maybe a quick photo shoot for old time sake.
