Mike Dunleavy=Jon Barry type. Yes only a Warriors fan would consider a third pick in the draft being comparable to a career back-up a good thing

ZING!!!

Hey, we need some more bay area love for the Warriors.

I know the current owner is more interested in profitability over winning, but the continuous rebuilding is getting out of hand. I know we are positioning ourselves for good '05 aquisitions...but I just don't want to see Mullin trade J-Rich for Shawn Bradley because he now thinks letting go of Dampier was a bad idea. Lets try and get some value. And those first round draft picks...you know we'll trade 'em away for some over the hill player like Tony Kukoc.
But I still love the home team.

nice...nice. ....

sorry, I'm a jon barry fan. Think his is a really solid ball player. Every time he comes on the floor his team scores points and gets a nice jump start. He's a solid shooter. and a good all around player. That's all I meant by dunleavy....he's that type of player. Plays hard. Can play a few different positions. Solid shooter and just a solid all around game. I see him getting better and better as time goes on.....as for dunleavy's draft position...I thought he was a better fit in lower end of the first round. I was hoping they'd take Amare Stoudemire.

i was really sad to see Brian Cardinal go. That guy is the very definition of effort and hustle.

As for Jon Barry, he was a former warrior too

yup....i was bummed when he went to atlanta. He shot damn near 50% from behind the arc that year...loved watching him play. good guy to have on the bench.

I'm a bigger fan of brent barry though> love that guy. Got to play with both of them and they are very nice guys.

I couldn't believe they let cardinal go. Guy was awesome...but I'm kinda glad they did. I hope he gets more minutes with his new squad. with a healthy troy murphy he wasn't gonna see more than 8-10 minutes a game. I think he deserves a shot at playing more.

A good friend of mine was Brent Baryy's roomate in college (Oregon state). They both played on the team....says nothing but nice things about him. I think his technique is A+, sweet stroke, but if could be a bit more agressive and play like Ray Allen, he would be a scorcher.

I was also sad to see Brian go, he was my favorite player. Mr. Hustle. But he got a fat contract. I would have gone as well. I also liked Earl Boykins (Big E)...this guy is like 5'6", and would shoot the lights out in the fourth quarter. I'm talking 18-20 points in 12 minutes. He didn't produce that much in Denver last year though...

denver didn't use earl right. I like him too.

Yeah..I always thought that if the barry brothers had a bit more ego..drive..swagger...whatever..they'd both be top notch players...especially brent. The guys just so damn natural.
