Glad there is no flesh damage. Car damage can always be fixed...

I'm surprised no one has said it... "it'll buff right out"

Sorry.

Cool

sorry about the car bro. your very lucky that you weren't hurt and it seems she was atleaste honest for the moment. If all that you say is correct, she will be d-1 or at fault and the report will show that the collision factor was a red light violation or in attention on her part. Furthermore, on the back of the report a brief synopsis of the incident will be written. goodluck and if you have any questions pm me.

Glad you're okay. The car is probably going to be deemed totaled. How's the frame?

First off, thanks to the crew (i-club members) for all the positive words and so forth. Means a lot when your car is fawked up and you have to deal with the insurance headaches and so forth. So again, thank you.

So here is the latest updates on zee car.

I went to the auto shop about 10mins ago to take a look at the car. They had everything stripped down and ready to go already. The owner has ordered everything from Subaru or whom ever.

The owner tells me the damage is about $9000. He claims my car will not be totaled since the value of the car is well over 20K. I asked him like 4 times, "Are you suuuuuuuure" and he replied "Yes, this is fixable and not a total loss". However, I need to wait for my insurance to make the final word but overall its looking good. Either way I am mr proactive and have another loan pre approved and ready to roll to purchase another STI if i do end up getting a totaled car

The owner of the body shop said it will take him about 3-4 weeks to get everything back on the car and in driving condition. He is also going to fix my rims which were scratched up.

I am happy with their service so far. They actually seem to care and who knows if thats their way of business or a front but I'm buying it so far. I am happy that he says this is not a total loss. I would assume since he deals with this on a daily basis he knows whats up.

Far as my insurance goes:

The lady gave her statement to my insurance and said something along the lines of "I am not sure if it was red or green. I don't know!" LOL

Yeah so I am not really too worried. That and I told my insurance about the cameras at the intersection. I contacted OPD who said the officer might view that footage for his report. I told this to my insurance and they said they are pretty sure they will not need to retrieve the footage since her statement was the way it was. However we are still awaiting the police report which I am sure will include her statements from the scene.

So things are coming along and my headache is still here.

Far as my health is concerned:

I have gotten my x rays back and everything looks fine. I have not broken bones or fractures anywhere. I do have a small case of whiplash and that is hurting my neck and back. However, Vicondin is helping those pains.

Thanks again yall!
Jason

No airbags what so ever... We were talking bout that at the shop. He showed me the sensor and said it was close. not sure if its a bad censor or what but the main impact was about 6 inches a way. So not sure if it was not enough to trigger it or not.

Updates!

First and foremost, I want to take a moment to thank everyone for the support, personal messages, and in general being cool and providing advice during my “down” time.

I actually got my car back last Tuesday, a whole month and a week after my accident. It was like an episode of pimp my ride. I was mad happy to see it back in perfect shape and looking all clean.

I finally received the police report and it went the way it should have, I.E. me not at fault. That was a huge relief since we all know how people will lie, cheat, and steal to get ahead and off the rap.

Anyhow, I will post pictures of the car soon. Overall I am satisfied with the work and it drives just like it did before.
