cruise control stopped working

cruise control stopped working

ever since the CEL was flashing, anybody know why i cleared the codes and the light and the car is ruining just perfect??!?!?!?!

cruise control gets disabled when a cel comes on.

The flashing cruise control light means it's disabled by the effects of the CEL. Do you know why your CEL is on. If you flashed it with an accessport, try resetting your ecu by unplugging your battery, letting it sit for a little bit, then plugging it back in. The car will probably not turn on in the first crank, but will start right up in the 2nd.

hmmmm. ill give a try otherwise is there any other way of doing so without unplugging the battery?

Am I the only one who never uses cruise control? In the 3 subies Ive owned, I've used CC ONCE just to see how it worked... I dont feel safe with the CC on

i use it on long trips and when i'm hella tired

since you dont use CC, i hope your not also the ahole that answers the phone in the fast lane and slows down to 55mph

i feel safer with CC on at 70mph with my foot covering the brake.

1. i know i won't speed (as much as if my leadfoot hits the gas pedal)
2. reaction time is enhanced because there is no need to switch pedals
3. better mileage
