wombatsauce - It certainly is a GL-10 Turbo Front Wheel Drive (fuel economy FTW!)
rau - with the turbo working (which I suspect it's NOT) it makes a whopping 111 hp!!
I think I'm gonna try to get the vehicle not to leak oil (prerequisite for showing up at LIC), then I'm going to take it in to them for the experts to bring this thing up to spec, and then we can make it my commuter car.

Speaking of Craigslist Subys and fuel economy, I just drove home my latest Craigslist purchase - my new 1991 Subaru Justy GL 4dr 4X4 5spd. This car is so freaking fun I was laughing the whole way home (except when I decided to see what 80mph was like, that was scary). I will put up a pic tomorrow cuz it's dark now. This car needs a few things but it only has 49k miles and is in great overall condition. It has a leaky front main so it has the normal classic Subaru burning oil smell (tm). Even has an AM/FM radio... Major stokage... It was pretty funny driving home, windows down, arm out the back window around the pillar and back in the front window. Microcars are funny. I have wanted a Justy for sooooooo long...

Would you believe this guy's claim?
"never raced, never tracked, never taken offroad, never left parked outside for more than a few hours, never parked close to anyone in the parking lot
"
And his car has these engine mods:
-Vishnu Turboback exhaust (very deep and not loud)
- Helix Up Pipe
- K&N Drop in Filter
- GP MOTO Intake Elbow
- Ecutek Reflash (~290 crank horsepower protuned at Gruppe-S)
I have trouble believing those claims. If true, then why spend money on the performance mods when if you're not going to use them?

What gets me is people who say "100% highway miles" or something. I mean, do they live on a freeway? Never drive below 60mph? Haha...
Here's a bad pic of the new whip:
