There is also extra sound deadening and the oem front lip (not a cheap piece either)...its more than just interior trim its heated leather which is pretty rare in the 02-07 chassis...ill admit the extras themselves are not worth the $ but the fact that it is a limited and numbered does make it a different car

I have a ripoff of the OEM lip that I picked up for $40 new. I actually prefer it because it is flexible and cheap to replace. Looks great, and if I actually cared about the badge I could get a knockoff of that too
My point? An overpriced STI "Limited" with a couple overpriced bits of fluff is not a "collector's car", especially when some of those bits make the car heavier and more problematic a regular STI with no performance increase. Imagine trying to find a seal for the sunroof in 10 years!! If you want a comfy luxury car, or something that demonstrates form over function, buy something else.
All things being equal I know which would win in a race

Not trying to argue with anyone in particular...just pointing out the facts as I see em
I will stop derailing the thread LOL!

To each their own...I think GC's are way overpriced for what that car offers, and they aren't even labeled as limited, and there's way more than 800 made, but somehow its a collectors car now
Just like how wrx's on CL jumped up a solid $2k in the last 4 months. Pretty stupid. A few months back there was tons of bug eyes fairly priced around $5,500-$8,000. Now everyone thinks their bug eye with 145k is worth $10k. It's pretty stupid.

Just because someone asks a ridiculous amount of money does not mean they get it
I agree about GC RS though. They are completely overpriced. That is why I swapped an L, and because it has no sunroof.

RSs aren't that rare, but good ones can be hard to find.
