oh sweet!!!

I talked to Steve a few minutes ago. Apparently he just signed a full boat with Addidas and some stuff with Giant. STOKED for him.

he got hosed in that comp this year. He should have made it out of his 4 and gave the finals a run. his video was good. The kid is dope. He filmed and assembled the video in 3 days and it was very well done...he got beat by a trials rider that shouldn't even have been in the comp. It isn't the UTC. it's the UFC. but whatever. **** happens...the guy that pulled out of his devision pulled a CRAZY back flip roll out.

anyways....so I take it you rided...what do you ride?

When I get my crap together we should put a i-club n* trip together.

Haha, same thing happened with Carlin. The guy who won was just doing bike park stuff, not nearly as much insane jumps as Carlin was doing. I ride Moto dirtbikes, never got into downhill. I'm still waiting for my brothers or Carlin to teach me

bah...if you ride motorcross you don't need a teacher. Just pick up a bike and ride. I'm sure shiv will get you one...just put tuned by vishnu on it..haaa.

seriously though. If you ride you ride. My buddy tripped out on how fast I picked up riding his motorcycle....I told him I'd been on 2 wheels since I was 3. haaa.

I think you'd have good time with it. It's a lot of fun. I don't ride like I used to, but now with the move and what not I plan to get back into it. Be good for me. Maybe I can loose the 50 pounds San Francisco put on me..haa.

yeah....I think the UFC stuff need to be more strict. It's FREERIDE. Not park. Not trials...etc.

I mean some urban stuff..yeah that's cool but you need to show you can do more than just jump off planter boxes and what not.

Freeride is about riding what you have and generally..going big and hard and what not. Big drops. Big gaps. Fast speeds...etc.

The two finalist from this years...05' were both great...they deserved to be there..my opinion...Steve's was in the top 3/4. Lots of similar stuff but he's smooth as hell and goes HUGE. and his video was probably the best put together.

seriously...get a bike......get some gear...get a full face. Wouldn't want you jacken up that pretty face. you'll have a good time. And the fact you know guys that are that good...you'll improve QUICK>..you're lucky.

It's not that im scared to get on a bike, I just haven't had the time. I haven't even gotten on my dirtbike in months. My car, and being up here takes up all my time

Hopefully this school year i'll get back into my old hobbies and try out downhill a bit more.
