The smog station would not smog it due to an oil leak, kinda being sticklers, I went back to the owner, and was able to give the car back to them! and get what I paid for it back minus $50 bucks!

That's why you're suppose to smog a car BEFORE you sell it... within 90 days.

I'd personally never buy a car that didn't have a smog presale. You're lucky the seller was cool enough to take it back. THey could have just said... FU. You bought it.

yea pretty much, I have bought a few cars without the smog cert and smogged it my self with no issues, but I think from now on, I will never do that again!

I even tried to tell them to smog it first but they didn't want to, now I know why I guess!
