Check engine light came on..

I have an 04 with just a turbo timer and my CEL light came on. After i filled up i noticed the light, so i pulled over and checked the gas cap, it was on tight. Now the light is being funny because sometimes itll be off when i start the car (usually when its cold) then itll turn on later (when engine is warmed up). I'm kinda weary about bringing it to dealer even though i am under warranty. I'm afraid they are gonna say something about my turbo timer. Do you think the turbo timer could be the cause? Thanks in advance guys

did you use a harness for the turbo timer install? I seriously doubt that would cause anything. Just go to a local autozone and have them see what the CEL is.

Is there any change in the way the car functions now that the light is on?
