Check engine light just came on.

My check engine light just came on yesterday. I have no idea on what is the cause is and it's still a new car only 700 miles on it. Any suggestion on what the cause is or should I just take it to the dealer. Thanks

Unless you forgot to turn the gas cap until you heard a click, visit the dealer. A mechanic can check the code for you too, but there's no reason for that on such a new car.
